Job Summary
CML Micro is seeking a highly skilled RF/IC Design Engineer to join our New Product Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing RF/IC analogue circuits at our design centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complete sub-systems for sub-6G RF ICs, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Develop a strong understanding of basic concepts and theories in Analog and RF design, including mismatch, linearity, stability, and noise.
- Design RF front-end, PA, LNA, Mixer, OSC, PLL LO, VGA, Filter, TIA, and other baseband modules in BiCMOS and/or RF-CMOS processes.
- Collaborate with the test team to develop the test plan and ASIC characterization.
- Contribute to the development of new product engineering processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in a closely related field; or proven industrial track record.
- One to five years' experience of IC design experience.
- Expertise with Cadence Virtuoso tools and version control.
- Silicon experience of SiGe BiCMOS and/or RF-CMOS technologies.
- Successful track record of right first-time silicon.
- An understanding of design for manufacture.
- Working knowledge of IC layout techniques in a Cadence Virtuoso environment.
- Familiarisation of ESD protection techniques.
