Attendance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Attendance Manager to join our team at Derbyshire County Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role that involves working closely with students, staff, and parents to improve attendance and engagement.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in attendance management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze data and produce reports.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing attendance strategies to improve student engagement and reduce absenteeism
  • Working closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to identify and address attendance issues
  • Analyzing data and producing reports to inform attendance strategies and track progress
  • Providing support and guidance to students and staff to improve attendance and engagement

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of attendance management principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

GCSE English and Maths at C (4) grade or above or an equivalent qualification is required, as is access to a vehicle for home visits and off-site meetings.
