About the Role

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our @one Alliance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Strategy for the @One alliance, ensuring accurate and relevant data and KPIs are used to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with programme area project delivery teams to ensure safety at work and on site at all times, investigating incidents and reporting to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain central alliance procedures and policies that comply with partner and Anglian Water safety rules and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation, best practice, and statutory requirements, ensuring the team is aware of new and forthcoming changes.
  • Work with other teams to implement agreed inspection systems, ensuring each construction site is inspected monthly.
  • Enhance H&S awareness through training, briefings, presentations, and initiatives, driving continuous improvement in all matters relating to care of individuals and safe operating procedure.
  • Oversee the management of a team to develop a first-class Health, Safety & Wellbeing facility across the alliance.
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll possess substantial experience in H&S management in a design and construction environment, holding NEBOSH Diploma and Graduate IOSH or higher membership level qualifications.

You'll be an experienced people manager with an open, honest, and clear communication style, passionate about the safety and wellbeing of a workforce. You'll be influential in championing the importance of health and safety in our day-to-day operations and culture.
