About the Role

Merlyn Phoenix Limited, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver for tramping work. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering packages to warehouses on time, interacting with clients and suppliers, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages efficiently
  • Interact with clients, colleagues, and suppliers in a professional manner
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and trailers, reporting any issues to management
  • Drive in various weather conditions, including light snow
  • Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
Requirements
  • Hold a valid commercial driving license with the correct categories (C/C+E)
  • Have a Professional Driving Qualification (CPC)
  • Hold a digital tachograph/smart card
  • Pass a background check and standard drug and alcohol test
  • Be able to speak and read English satisfactorily
  • Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your driver's license
