About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Meter Reader to join our team at Greenbean. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electric, and water meters, using a hand-held electronic device and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect data from meters in a timely and accurate manner
  • Use a hand-held electronic device and other equipment to record meter readings
  • Ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills
  • Work independently to plan and manage your workload
  • Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected signs of tampering
  • Meet targets set by your field delivery manager
Requirements
  • Approachable, presentable, and polite with excellent customer service skills
  • Physically fit due to the nature of the role
  • Ability to plan and manage workload independently
  • Ability to work to targets and under pressure
  • Self-motivated and energetic with a flexible approach to tasks and working
  • Friendly personality with a professional approach to work
  • Pass screening and vetting standards and pass a DBS check
