Electrical Engineering Expertise

Molex CES Structured Cabling is a leading provider of enterprise network solutions with over three decades of experience delivering high-performance, efficient, and reliable connectivity solutions to top organizations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design activities for the development of high-performance connectivity solutions compliant with TIA and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical design, Production engineering, and Product Management, to productize designs and provide electrical engineering support throughout the NPI process and product life cycle.
  • Create and maintain electrical engineering standards for manufactured and outsourced products in the Molex CES product portfolio.
  • Provide technical leadership on electrical product testing equipment, process, and policy used in the company's R&D lab in Poland.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Four or more years of experience designing connectivity for four-pair balanced cabling systems to TIA component compliance standards
  • Experience in field simulation and circuit simulation
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA and IEEE industry standards for high-speed Ethernet applications
  • Computer-aided design of PCBs using PADS, Altium, and/or Cadence Allegro software
  • Practical knowledge of testing methods for balanced transmission lines
  • Project management skills with the ability to set goals and priorities to complete projects in a systematic and timely manner
