Childcare Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Development Officer to join our Children, Families and Education Directorate in Portsmouth City Council.
Key Responsibilities- Commission workforce development activities to support the Children and Families Service.
- Provide a consultancy service to establish training needs and identify solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of delivery and ensure all course descriptions and outcomes meet the required PCC standards.
- Create reports on workforce development activity and spend against agreed budgets.
- Knowledge of services provided by local government, including health and social care, and legislation and guidance related to local government.
- Previous project management experience or the ability to solve complex issues in a logical way.
- Ability to interpret data, deliver presentations, and use effective research skills.
- Passion for the development of people to enable them to fulfill their full potential.
