As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of mechanical design and estimating processes, ensuring they are aligned with our business goals and objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Tender Period**
    • Identify future tender opportunities and develop relationships with clients to drive business growth.
    • Assist clients with budget costs and design briefs to ensure accurate project planning.
    • Evaluate suitability of tender opportunities based on various factors, including market trends and competitor analysis.
  • **Tender/Post Tender Period**
    • Manage the tender process and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
    • Develop design elements and systems for design and build tenders, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
    • Adjudicate final tender design and costings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist in achieving agreed contract sum with clients, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • **Design Delivery**
    • Coordinate between estimating and design departments to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Monitor design progress and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including health and safety regulations.
    • Lead services coordination and issue necessary builders' work details to ensure project completion.
  • **Other Associated Duties**
    • Develop upgrade schemes and reports for existing sites and systems, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Solve client design and pricing issues pre or post contract, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Approve design changes proposed by the contracting team, ensuring they align with business objectives.
    • Agree subcontract design order content and sign off subcontract design and estimation invoices, ensuring accurate project costing.
