As a Senior Tax Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to support the Tax Director in delivering tax advisory and strategic planning services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed on the latest tax legislation and developments, disseminating relevant information to both the tax and accounting teams.
  • Manage personal tax and capital gains tax compliance, providing expert advice and preparing, reviewing, and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns for high-net-worth individuals, sole proprietors, partners, and property owners.
  • Oversee workflow and ensure adherence to tax deadlines, collaborating closely with client portfolio managers to guarantee timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, reviewing their work and facilitating their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a Senior Tax Consultant.
  • Background in an accounting practice with a focus on tax-related functions.
  • Familiarity with the computation and review of Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and Corporation Tax is advantageous.
