Experienced Class 1 HGV Operators

24-7 Recruitment Services Ltd, acting as an Employment Business, is currently seeking skilled Class 1 HGV Operators.

We are looking for Class 1 HGV Operators to engage on an AdHoc basis. You will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK from the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities of a Class 1 HGV Operator

Join one of the foremost parcel distribution firms in the UK.

Perform trunking operations between depots (Trailer drop/swap).

No manual handling required - Box trailers.

Overtime compensation applicable after 8 hours.

As a Class 1 HGV Operator, you must possess:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence with C+E Category
  • Current CPC & Tacho Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
  • Drivers with a minimum of 12-month tacho history will need to complete an induction
  • Drivers with a minimum of 6-month tacho history will be required to undergo a driving assessment and an induction

Compensation for Class 1 HGV Operators:

All pay rates are variable and structured accordingly.

PAYE - DAY SHIFT (06:00-18:00)

  • Monday to Friday £15.68
  • Monday to Friday Overtime £22.92
  • Saturday £20.37
