Exciting Opportunity for EYFS Teaching Assistant

Clockwork Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team at a lovely school in County Durham. The role is available to start immediately and will be ongoing until at least Summer 2025, working 8.30am- 3.30pm, 5 days a week.

The school requires an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work across Nursery, Reception, and Key Stage 1 when needed. The ideal candidate will have a relevant Level 3 qualification, excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge, and good behaviour management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within the EYFS setting to support small groups of children and provide one-to-one support when needed
  • Recording evidence of children meeting targets
  • Using initiative to lead and adapt activity plans as required

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification
  • Ability to provide educational references
  • Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
  • Good behaviour management
