About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our forward-thinking Family Safeguarding Teams. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases, leading multi-agency collaboration, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate complex cases, ensuring effective collaboration with multi-agency teams
  • Lead and mentor less experienced colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality practice
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to address the root causes of risk within families
  • Contribute to the development of our innovative approach to social work, sharing best practices and expertise with colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in social work, with a focus on complex case management and multi-agency collaboration
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders
