About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team at Hays PLC. As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting a varied general practice portfolio across accounts, tax, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation and submission of statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105.
  2. Bookkeeping and submissions for VAT clients.
  3. Bookkeeping for client accounts up to trial balance.
  4. Assisting with payroll processing.
  5. Preparation of tax computations and assisting senior staff members with HMRC queries on behalf of clients.
  6. Working directly with clients, building strong rapport and problem-solving.
  7. Leading record management, ensuring we have all relevant and accurate information.
