Job Overview

Position: Solution Architect – Loan Account Migration

Location: Hybrid (2 days in office)

Compensation: 420/Day (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)

Experience Required: 5-10 years

Key Responsibilities:


• **Design and implement migration solutions**: Lead the architecture and documentation of comprehensive solutions for migrating loan accounts, covering aspects such as cards & payments, application integration, acquiring, and issuing.


• **Facilitate successful delivery**: Collaborate with various stakeholders to evaluate the implications of proposed solutions, ensuring they align with architectural standards and the overall strategy of the organization.


• **Champion technological capabilities**: Take ownership of the roadmap and direction for specific capabilities and technologies, ensuring ongoing support and compliance with organizational standards.


• **Ensure governance of projects**: Supervise projects to guarantee adherence to architectural principles and strategic objectives.


• **Build and maintain stakeholder relationships**: Establish effective communication and collaboration with senior business stakeholders across all levels.


• **Cultivate a collaborative technical network**: Develop and sustain positive working relationships with the CTO, Transaction Cycle Architects, and other technical colleagues.

Technical Proficiencies:


• **Expertise in loan account migration**: Possess extensive experience in designing and executing loan account migrations, with a thorough understanding of the related challenges and considerations.


• **Enterprise architecture experience**: Proven track record in defining and documenting enterprise-wide technical solutions for complex systems.


• **API architecture knowledge**: Comprehensive understanding of application and API architectures, including RAML, SOAP, and related technologies.


• **Service-oriented architecture (SOA)**: Solid grasp of SOA design principles, service definition, and web service implementation, including securing external APIs.

Preferred Qualifications:


• **IT delivery program execution**: Demonstrated capability to effectively lead significant IT delivery programs from initiation through to completion.


• **Relevant certifications**: Possess certifications such as TOGAF or BCS, enhancing your architectural qualifications.


• **Java/Java Enterprise expertise**: Familiarity with Java/Java Enterprise technologies, providing a beneficial edge in this role.
