About the Role:
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking skilled Maintenance Joiners/Fabric Engineers to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will ensure the durability and aesthetic quality of various structures. Your expertise will be essential in performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks related to both joinery and fabric elements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out thorough inspections of building fabric components, including walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs, to identify maintenance requirements.
  • Execute repairs and renovations on fabric elements utilizing suitable materials and techniques.
  • Install, repair, and maintain joinery features such as doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers for specialized fabric-related services, including upholstery repairs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold appearance standards for fabric surfaces and finishes throughout the premises.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of NVQ Level 3 in Joinery/Carpentry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Joiner, Fabric Engineer, or in a similar capacity within the facilities management sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of building fabric materials, construction methodologies, and repair techniques.
  • Proficient in executing fabric repairs, joinery installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering superior workmanship.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
