Service Care Solutions is currently in search of a dedicated Fostering Support Specialist to enhance our team.

The ideal candidate will take charge of evaluating and overseeing a group of caregivers for children and adolescents, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding and expertise in specific areas of practice, honed through formal post-qualifying training and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and oversee a group of caregivers for children and adolescents.
  • Exhibit proficient and effective practice in intricate scenarios, assessing and managing elevated levels of risk while fostering empowerment and self-determination.
  • Lead significant meetings, provide expert guidance and support to the Fostering Panel, and produce high-quality, specialized evaluations and reports for various functions.
  • Conduct local peer audits to ensure quality standards are met.
Essential Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of fostering legislation and guidelines.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.
