As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse & Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for completing tasks that support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and accurately storing products.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to good practice within the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing them in the correct staging lanes.
- Notify the Warehouse Supervisor of any stock shortages or discrepancies with orders.
- Ensure new stock is correctly accounted for and matches the delivery note before storing it in its designated bin-bay location.
- Follow stock write-off procedures and notify the stock team of any breakages by completing a breakage form.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Prioritize workloads and demonstrate a flexible approach to working.
- Assist drivers as needed.
- Good team work skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good product knowledge.
- Flexi FLT license is an advantage.
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System would be advantageous.
