We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse to become a vital part of the Emergency Department at Countess of Chester Hospital.

This role demands a passionate, driven, and proactive leader with substantial Band 6 experience. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring adherence to NHSE Emergency Medicine standards, thereby guaranteeing safe and effective patient care.

We seek a prominent leader who will inspire and guide their team to achieve exemplary practices and deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient care to our critically ill patients.

The selected individual will provide clinical leadership and professional guidance to the multi-disciplinary team, while also overseeing the operational efficiency of the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will supervise nursing and support staff on a shift basis. In addition to managing the department, you will monitor quality, safety, and high standards of patient care, ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the department. You will lead a team of nurses and take charge of quality and safety initiatives within the Emergency Department.
