About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Educator-General Medicine Specialist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Medical Specialities South team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our Practice Development Nurse team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of our Practice Development Nurse team, working closely with experienced Practice Development Nurses and Nurse Educators.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, promoting quality and excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement education programs, ensuring that our staff have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our Practice Development Nurse team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and staff development.
Requirements
  • Registered on part 1 of the NMC.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience.
