We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer specializing in Agricultural and Horticultural Machinery.
Work Location:
This role is based in the Cirencester area, with flexibility for candidates from neighboring regions.
Compensation:
The salary ranges from £30,000 to £40,000, with potential earnings of £45,000 to £50,000, inclusive of door-to-door pay.
Working Hours:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with additional pay for overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
About the Company:
Interaction Recruitment collaborates with a prominent manufacturer in the Agricultural Engineering sector, located in Gloucestershire, to enhance their engineering workforce.
As the business expands, we are looking for an electromechanical field engineer to service, maintain, and repair a variety of agricultural machinery in the Cirencester vicinity.
Benefits Package:
- Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from £30,000 to £40,000
- 32 days of paid leave, including public holidays, with increments based on tenure
- Overtime opportunities available at 1.5X during weekdays and double on Sundays and public holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing faults and performing servicing and emergency repairs on agricultural machinery, including tractors and bailers
- Traveling to client locations to ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest standards
- Conducting diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues in agricultural and horticultural equipment
- Working independently on customer sites while collaborating with team members to ensure thorough documentation and optimal solutions
- Engaging with engines, batteries, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Communicating with clients to identify faults and propose effective solutions
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience with hydraulics and mechanical/electrical systems (essential)
- Background in the Agricultural sector (essential)
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault diagnosis, repair, and servicing (advantageous)
- Familiarity with engines and batteries (advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Valid UK Driver's License
