About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team at PWS Technical Services (UK) LTD. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient cost estimates for projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate and timely estimates for projects, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and client requirements.
  • Analyse and interpret detailed client requests, drawings, and specifications to determine and estimate value-engineered solutions or alternatives.
  • Utilise expertise to submit bespoke bids and proposals to clients, ensuring proposals meet client key drivers.
  • Attend pre and post-tender bid meetings with clients and their representatives.
  • Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed, and calm manner.
  • Assist and support the business to meet financial targets.
  • Help identify and develop potential new opportunities for work.
  • Identify new suppliers and sub-contractors to improve performance and profit.
Requirements
  • Confident and self-motivated individual with the ability to be innovative and follow set processes.
  • Proven track record within the piling, foundations, or ground engineering sectors.
  • Able to identify project requirements, prepare quotations, and provide detailed handover project files.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands on time availability.
  • Able to monitor progress, implement controls, and develop effective solutions to challenges and opportunities.
  • Deliver efficient and effective client service at all times.
