We are excited to present excellent opportunities for Logistics Associates to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. The primary objective of this position is to support the efficient and effective processing of orders for both internal and external clients, including loading and unloading transport vehicles and organizing stock within the facility.

Our client boasts a vast range of products, with over 65,000 items spread across 16 distinct categories such as Home Improvement, Kitchenware, Furniture, Illumination, Crafts, and Fabrics.

We are looking for a dependable and diligent Logistics Associate to become part of our workforce. In this role, you will engage in various tasks related to material handling, order picking, packing, and ensuring the overall organization of the warehouse. This position demands physical stamina and the capability to operate machinery such as forklifts and warehouse management systems.

*Candidates must have their own means of transportation due to the location*

Compensation & Work Schedule

  • Work schedule consists of any 5 days out of 7
  • 40 hours per week (paid breaks after 12 weeks)
  • Rotating Shifts - One week from 06:00 to 14:00 and the following week from 14:00 to 22:00
  • Night shifts available
  • Hourly Rate - £13.31 with overtime at £16.64 per hour after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities as a Logistics Associate

  • Efficiently and accurately pick and pack products for distribution
  • Scan items, remove them from pallets, and allocate each product appropriately within the warehouse
  • Move items using a Pump Truck
  • Manage incoming and outgoing goods
  • Allocate stock and assist in loading/unloading vehicles

Essential Qualifications

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills in English to comprehend instructions and execute tasks
  • Possession of personal transportation
  • Able to commit to full-time hours
  • No prior experience required
  • Capability to perform regular heavy lifting
