Overview:
First Military Recruitment Ltd is actively seeking a Forklift Maintenance Specialist to join our esteemed client.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with performing regular servicing and repairs on both short-term and long-term machinery, as well as customer-owned equipment.

It is crucial to uphold the highest standards of quality and professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction. We welcome applications from ex-military personnel, although all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct servicing and repairs on forklift trucks and various lifting apparatus.
- Perform routine maintenance checks.
- Monitor oil and fuel levels.
- Inspect all associated hoses and connections.
- Execute steering and brake assessments.
- Carry out basic electrical inspections, including brake lights.
- Communicate with clients regarding their specific needs.
- Provide precise parts requisition details to the Head Office.
- Represent the company positively, acting as a brand ambassador.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical engineering background is essential.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team or work independently as needed.
- Exceptional time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with forklift trucks, military, agricultural, or plant equipment is highly advantageous.
- Valid UK driving license.

Salary:
£31,000 - £34,000 + Overtime + Benefits
