Associate Director Medical Affairs

Pharma Partners Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Associate Director Medical Affairs to lead our Haematology division in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our Medical Affairs team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing medical strategy, line managing a team of direct and second-line reports, and working closely with our Country Medical Director to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute medical strategy for the Haematology division, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead a team of medical professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of medical projects and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders to advance our medical affairs goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including the ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments in Haematology, providing expert advice and guidance to the team.
Requirements:
  • UK registered Physician or Pharmacist with ABPI Final Signatory status.
  • Extensive experience in Medical Affairs, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical industry setting, with knowledge of medical affairs processes and procedures.
