Position: Line Cook

Working Hours: 48 hours per week (4 shifts of 12 hours each, from 10 AM to 10 PM)

Compensation: £31,450 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Line Cook Role:
As a Line Cook, you will support Senior Chefs in managing a productive and profitable kitchen, utilizing high-quality ingredients to create delicious menus and beautifully presented dishes. Key Responsibilities of the Line Cook:
In this role, you will carry out tasks as directed by a Senior Chef, applying your knowledge and skills to advance your culinary career. You will be responsible for maintaining your kitchen station and equipment throughout your shift, demonstrating a commitment to progress and ensuring customer satisfaction through the quality of your dishes.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping the kitchen area and equipment clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Storing deliveries promptly and in the correct locations.
  • Providing efficient service while maintaining food quality and presentation.
  • Practicing portion control to minimize waste during food preparation.
  • Understanding and adhering to company policies regarding health and safety, food safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Building relationships with kitchen staff and those involved in customer service.
  • Completing any necessary training or qualifications as required by the company.
