Job Title: Environmental Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Grundon Waste Management. As a key member of our Environmental team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our environmental control and management systems across our sites.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of minimizing environmental impact and achieving Net-Zero. As Environmental Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining our landfill gas control systems to ensure regulatory compliance and high standards of energy efficiency.
  • Collaborating with our site teams, engineers, planners, and sustainability specialists to develop and implement energy and environmental projects.
  • Investigating and implementing new technologies to minimize environmental impact and support our Net-Zero goals.
  • Providing project and contractor management expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in landfill environmental monitoring and control systems, with a focus on landfill gas control systems.
  • A thorough understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to the waste management industry.
  • Project and contractor management experience.
  • A full driving licence.
