Site Engineer Opportunity

Danny Sullivan Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of UKPN substation projects across the South East of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting and surveying out on-site using various methods, including GPS, EDM, and Total Station.
  • Managing utilities exclusion zones and providing watching brief supervision for high-risk activities adjacent to utilities.
  • Planning and executing utilities protection works, including providing handover information onsite for as-built and existing utilities.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Completing daily diaries of works undertaken on-site, with accurate and comprehensive details.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met, in accordance with ITPs, by completing check sheets.
  • Assisting with safety inspections and workplace inspections, and raising and issuing permits as required.
  • Undertaking CAT and Genny surveys prior to excavation works commencing.
  • Attending site meetings to discuss programme, safety, and working areas.
  • Developing strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, subcontractors, the general public, and clients.
  • Producing sketches of survey work and construction sequences.
Requirements:
  • CSCS card relevant to appointment.
  • Degree or relevant qualification/experience.
  • CAT and Genny training (mandatory).
  • GS6 training (desirable).
  • First aid training (optional).
