Position: NDT Technician

Salary: Circa £45,000, including qualifications such as UT, PAUT, Rope Access, ECITB Safety Passport, CSCS Card, and Working at Height.

Job Overview:
S.T & W Inspections, a prominent provider of non-destructive testing services, is seeking a qualified NDT Technician to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing MPI, DPI, UT, and PAUT inspections at various sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MPI, DPI, UT, and PAUT inspections at designated locations, with an expectation of 1-2 nights away per week.
- Prepare detailed and professional reports following each inspection, collaborating closely with the technical administrator.
- Participate in ongoing training with PCN, including health and safety certifications (Confined Space, ECITB, CSCS) and progress to IRATA L2 as required.
- Maintain and care for issued equipment, promptly reporting any issues to management.
- Communicate effectively within the organization, identifying areas for improvement and assisting with UKAS ISO9001 accreditation through active engagement.
- Report any health and safety concerns observed on-site or in the office.
- Uphold personal health and safety standards on-site, refusing to conduct unsafe inspections and providing feedback to management.
- Assist Directors, NDT Manager, and Administrative Staff as needed in various business areas.

Required Skills:
- Must possess a PCN Level 2 certification in MPI, DPI, and UT (PAUT preferred) and have experience in a non-destructive testing environment.
- Familiarity with magnetic particle inspection, dye penetrant inspection, ultrasonic testing, and visual inspection in both new welds and in-service inspections.
- Ideally, experience working with pressure equipment.
- Ability to work independently on-site while maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.
- Opportunities for advancement into various roles within the company, including management and technical specialist positions.
- Ability to organize one's own workday unsupervised and meet different clients regularly.
- Willingness to adapt to changes at short notice and work away from home.
- Must reside within a 30/40 mile radius of Doncaster.
