About the Role:

As a Family Solicitor within our team, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of private family law matters. This position is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, proactive, and eager to mentor junior team members and trainee solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Legal Advice: Offer expert legal advice and advocacy in private family law, including:
    • Separation and divorce
    • Financial remedy applications
    • Financial matters for cohabitees
    • Private law children matters
  • Manage Cases: Manage cases with minimal supervision
  • Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to deliver personalized legal solutions
  • Travel: Travel between our offices as required to meet client needs

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor or full CILEx qualification
  • Membership of Resolution and adherence to its code of practice (preferred)
  • Willingness to participate in marketing initiatives to promote the firm and team
