Job Title: Senior Biomedical Scientist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our team in the Department of Clinical Parasitology in central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic services for a wide range of parasitological infections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert diagnostic services for parasitological infections using microscopy, serology, and molecular techniques
  • Developing and implementing new diagnostic techniques and technologies
  • Collaborating with other laboratory staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic services
  • Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Providing training and support to junior staff members

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • Postgraduate qualification in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Experience in parasitology and diagnostic laboratory work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
