Job Summary: FT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join one of the UK's leading recycling and waste management companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and process operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and process operators to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Monitor and inspect all maintenance work to ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems.
- Assist in the control of maintenance and site service sub-contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Manage site maintenance stock, planning, and issuing parts, and monitor departmental expenditure to optimize resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance-related tasks, including root cause analysis and defect trend identification.
- Monitor staff attendance, lateness, and performance issues, and challenge where necessary to maintain high standards.
- Ensure operational and noise management plans are followed to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct investigations in line with disciplinary and health & safety policies to address any issues or incidents.
Requirements:
- Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
