About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Entity Governance Specialist to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for safeguarding our assets and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Monitoring: Take complete ownership of financial reporting and monitoring across a wide range of legal entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.
  • Technical Accounting Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of business strategies, products, and technical accounting requirements, resolving complex issues and disclosure requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate the quarterly consolidated reporting process, coordinating with multiple teams across the firm globally, and presenting financial reports to senior management, directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively improve workflows, technology, and integrity of reporting information, ensuring efficient and effective financial management oversight.
Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification: Recently qualified accountant (0-2 yrs) with a CA or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Accounting Knowledge: Demonstrable technical accounting knowledge, with experience in preparation of audited financial statements under IFRS an advantage.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
