Job Title: Private Client Tax Junior

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Client Tax Junior to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their tax needs.

Job Description

As a Private Client Tax Junior, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will also provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimising tax liabilities.

You will conduct research on tax issues and developments, and effectively communicate findings to clients and colleagues. You will develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters and providing proactive solutions to meet their needs.

You will stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicate implications to clients and colleagues. You will collaborate with other members of the tax team and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.

Requirements
  • Studying towards your ATT, with a solid understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience in tax compliance and advisory within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with tax laws and industry trends.
