Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their go-to person

  • Run audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance at every step of the function
  • Supervise the audit team during planning, fieldwork and completion stages
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively problem solving and handling queries
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling enquiries effectively
  • Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
  • Organise your own workload, ensuring client expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Support the wider firm by undertaking ad-hoc work where required
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible

Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / CA qualified, part qualified or studying
  • Relevant audit experience within UK practice
  • Good working knowledge of relevant audit software, including Caseware
  • Good understanding of UK audit and accounting standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Highly organised to manage workload to meet deadlines
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider department
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • A drive for progression and self-development within the firm
