Key Responsibilities:
  • Master Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
  • Production Coordination: Work closely with production supervisors to ensure the timely execution of the master schedule and generated manufacturing orders.
  • Capacity Planning: Evaluate production capacities and constraints to identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
  • MRP System Management: Optimize the use of the MRP system to ensure accurate and timely data input, maintenance, and retrieval.
  • Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  • S&OP Supply Plan Development: Develop the long-term S&OP Supply Plan (Build Plan) each month by collaborating with sales and production teams to balance demand with Supply Chain constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and system development within the Master Scheduling Process and MRP system workflows.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks that may impact the master production schedule.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role within production scheduling, materials planning or supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems and their application in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in using relevant software applications and tools.
