Job Summary:The Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting gastroenterology assessments, documenting pertinent findings, and initiating, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests. You will utilize evidence-based care practices to meet the needs of complex patients and evaluate diagnoses and effectiveness of interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct gastroenterology assessments and document findings
- Initiate, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Utilize evidence-based care practices to meet patient needs
- Evaluate diagnoses and effectiveness of interventions
- Prescribe treatments, therapy procedures, and medications as needed
- Collaborate with other clinicians and staff members to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in staff educational programs and meetings
Our medical practice operates in a fast-paced environment with a variable number of patients seen per day. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
