Job Description:

Our 12-month Graduate Programme is an exciting opportunity to join the next generation of our business at Leonardo. As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team working on real-time projects alongside leading scientists and engineers.

As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will work on a wide range of tasks across multiple projects/products, including the radar for the Typhoon fighter jet, the SAAB Gripen fighter, and our family of Surveillance AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radars. You will be involved in requirements capture, design documentation, verification and validation, algorithm design and test, performance modelling, data analysis, and applied research.

You will receive coaching and support from your team to achieve your objectives and personal development goals. You will also have the opportunity to engage in R&D, developing new concepts and conducting fundamental research into our future technologies.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of an upper Second class Bachelors/Integrated Master's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or another STEM discipline. Relevant project work and/or placements in industry, coding/programming, and problem-solving skills are also highly desirable.
