Medical Science Liaison Role

At Autolus Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in scientifically engaging with external stakeholders to address patient needs and improve medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Exchange and Partnership Development: Establish, develop, and maintain long-term professional partnerships with healthcare professionals, medical experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Medical Education and Expertise: Communicate expert medical education to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions.
  • Field Work and Data Dissemination: Spend 80% of your time on field work, including preparation, visits, data dissemination, and scientific exchange.
  • Medical Intelligence and Data Generation: Identify external medical intelligence, data gaps, and opportunities to improve patient access and outcomes.
  • Clinical Trial Support: Collaborate with clinical research colleagues to support clinical trial processes, including research site recommendations and medical expertise.
  • Information Sharing and Compliance: Respond to unsolicited requests for information and share data in a timely, compliant, and stakeholder-focused manner.
  • Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement: Identify and map external stakeholders, create personalized engagement strategies, and leverage digital channels for a broader reach.
  • Strategic Partnership and Medical Strategy: Contribute to patient journey mapping, launch excellence roadmap, and integrated evidence generation plans.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Utilize knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas and compounds to serve as a medical, clinical, and scientific expert to field colleagues.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Manage personal and professional development, administrative responsibilities, and company Ethics and Compliance Policies.
