Job Title: NavCom Field Service Engineer Marine

Location: Redhill

Contract type: Permanent

Our client is a leading provider of Satellite Communications and IT Support to the Government and Maritime markets. Headquartered in the UK, the company has a global footprint with key offices located across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

This role involves traveling to customer sites in the surrounding areas to assist in the installation and maintenance of our client's equipment. Occasional overseas travel may be necessary depending on company needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation, repair, and maintenance of GMDSS Equipment
  2. Installation, repair, and maintenance of Navigational equipment
  3. Installation, repair, and maintenance of VSAT Satellite Broadband
  4. Working on Retrofit projects completing whole bridge installs and large system integrations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Good standard at a higher level HNC/ONC/NVQ Level or equivalent national standard education
  2. Preferably a skill base education/qualification with an I.T/ Engineering background
  3. Current Driving Licence
  4. Able to pass marine/offshore worker medical examination
  5. Valid Passport
  6. 3+ Years of Marine Service Engineer experience
  7. In-depth knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering
  8. GMDSS Radio Operator / Maintainer License preferred
