Your Role

Gensler's global legal studio is seeking ambitious law undergraduates to join their team for a 4-week paid internship in July 2024. Successful candidates will have an interest in design and the creative world, and will be keen to understand how in-house legal teams provide support to creative thinkers creating a better world through the power of design.

We have teamed with our friends at Fieldfisher to create a unique experience, and part of this will involve workshops at Fieldfisher's London office where guidance and mentoring will take place to prepare you for a career in law.

What You Will Do

  • Apply the principles of contract and tort law to learn the review of simple professional appointments and confidentiality agreements
  • Attend design presentations to develop an understanding of the business of design
  • Review and update Gensler's template documents with support from Gensler's Counsels
  • Provide support in organising and implementing various QA/QC initiatives
  • Support the legal studio in its daily tasks
  • Deliver feedback on your experience to the Legal team describing your time at Gensler

Your Qualifications

  • Currently studying (or have recently completed) your LLB, GDL, LPC or SQE, or exploring a Legal sector apprenticeship, but yet to secure a training contract or such apprenticeship
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive attitude and eager to learn
  • Willingness to continuously expand own professional knowledge
  • Interested in design, climate change, sustainability and diversity
