Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team in the Water Sector.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on the whole project life cycle, from optioneering to detailed design and installation. You will also be involved in feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver EICA design solutions for water treatment processes
  • Work with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Assess existing electrical and ICA infrastructure to develop and deliver EICA design solutions
  • Act as a mentor, line manager, or guide to less experienced team members
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Chartered or Incorporated with the IET with several years' experience in EICA design
  • Experience in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports, and collaborative reviews
  • Strong communication skills to give technical presentations to clients and design engineers
