## Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistants

We are seeking enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team in Burton and surrounding areas.

### Job Summary:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in mainstream schools on a long-term or day-to-day basis, providing support to children with special educational needs and disabilities.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support to children with special educational needs and disabilities in mainstream schools
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
* Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as needed
* Support children with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior

### Requirements:

* Minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience with SEND children
* DBS check required (happy to assist with obtaining a new one)
* Driving is advantageous but not essential
