Job Summary:

Hunter AHP is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Stores/Distribution Assistant to join our team at a brand new NHS Hospital in Birmingham. As a Pharmacy Stores/Distribution Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy stores and distribution services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the receipt, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to resolve any issues related to stock levels or supply chain disruptions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes to improve pharmacy operations.
  • Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
