About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Lead Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a senior clinical leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical governance and service delivery across our mental health services in the South-west region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior clinical advisory support to our sites on clinical matters and clinical strategy
  • Participate in the development and review of policies and procedures
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance across our services
  • Provide medical management and supervision to other medical staff
  • Represent our clinical governance structures at a regional level
  • Hold a clinical caseload and provide responsible clinician services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
  • Implement the Mental Health Act and liaise with the Ministry of Justice as required
  • Lead clinical governance meetings and service development at a site level
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved clinician status
  • Previous medical leadership experience is desirable
