Design Manager Opportunity

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in Chippenham. As a Design Manager, you will oversee the company's mechanical and electrical design engineers, ensuring product and project specific designs meet customer expectations and specifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established international company that specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke water treatment equipment for municipal and industrial clients. You will have the chance to increase your technical skills within a stable industry and enjoy long-term job security.

The ideal candidate will have strong design experience, hold an engineering qualification, and prior experience within a lead or managerial role. They must also have CAD knowledge and be commutable to Chippenham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the company's mechanical and electrical design engineers
  • Ensure product and project specific designs meet customer expectations and specifications
  • Full product training can be provided
  • Office-based with occasional site visits
Requirements:
  • Strong design experience
  • Hold an engineering qualification
  • Prior experience within a lead or managerial role
  • CAD knowledge
  • Commutable to Chippenham
