Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: 24,000 - 28,000

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a talented Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their expanding team. As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will work on a variety of ground investigation projects, including Phase I Desktop Studies and Phase II Site Investigation & Risk Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise ground investigations and carry out risk assessments
  • Conduct groundwater and gas monitoring, collect soil samples, and schedule testing and analysis
  • Write factual and interpretive reports

Requirements:

  • Degree in geology, earth sciences, environmental science, geography, or a heavily soil-focused subject
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills
  • Valid UK Driving licence
  • Commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Willing to travel to sites and work in the office
  • Full right to work in the UK
