As we expand, we are in search of a Senior Facilities Manager. This role presents an excellent opportunity to acquire hands-on commercial experience within a dynamic and growing organization, focusing on delivering professional, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance solutions for our restaurant locations across the UK.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Oversee and implement maintenance operations for all restaurant locations and associated staff accommodations. Serve as the primary contact for maintenance contractors, evaluate proposals, and coordinate maintenance activities with Facilities Managers and the maintenance team. Engage with site teams and management to plan and execute maintenance projects. Monitor the online maintenance management system, ProNett. Responsible for the preparation and execution of annual fixed maintenance budgets, ensuring budgetary control and effective workload scheduling in collaboration with the operations team. Identify and implement proactive solutions to maintenance challenges. Manage all projects and oversee the performance of the in-house maintenance team. Conduct regular site assessments of both new and existing restaurant properties. Demonstrate sound business judgment and experience in budget management. Ensure compliance with Giggling Squid standards, legal requirements, and health and safety protocols at all times. Guarantee that all business operations, including contractor activities, are conducted safely and securely.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Adaptable and experienced in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments. Proven experience in managing multiple contractors. Strong time management skills with the ability to plan site visits and complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Experience in systems management, including maintenance and compliance oversight. Qualification at HND level in Building Surveying or equivalent. Relevant NEBOSH qualification or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of construction safety regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with both senior management and restaurant personnel. A commitment to safety in all operational activities. Experience working within the hospitality sector in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Proficient in managing budgets and financial figures. High attention to detail and strong project management capabilities.
