Job Title: HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team at Turner-Whittman Logistics Limited. As a Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from one fulfillment center to another, using your knowledge of route navigation apps and the area to deliver packages on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport goods from station to station
  • No loading/unloading expected, we will do that for you
  • Reliable and safe driving with careful handling of the vehicles and trailers
  • Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to warehouse on time
  • Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid C+E license, Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card)
  • Understand and comply to tachograph and driver hours regulations
  • Minimum 6 months HGV 1 Driving Experience
  • Digital Tachograph card
  • Driver qualification card
  • Knowledge and understanding of the driving regulations in the UK
  • Clean Driving licence
  • Be flexible to work 60hr weeks
  • Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
  • Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
  • Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily
  • No more than a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver's License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
Benefits:
  • Salary: £41,600 (gross) / month + £25 night out allowance + extras night shift etc.
