Role Overview

You will work closely with our Tax Principal, primarily focusing on complex tax advisory services (approximately 75% of the role) with the remaining 25% involving tax compliance. This is a great opportunity to expand your expertise, offering advice across a broad range of taxes and assignments for a varied portfolio of corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and provide input on corporation tax returns for larger, more complex clients.
  • Review personal tax returns for high-net-worth individuals or those with intricate tax affairs.
  • Handle client tax queries on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist with strategic tax planning, including group reconstructions, statutory and non-statutory business clearances.
  • Provide practical tax solutions for Owner-Managed Businesses.

Skills and Competencies

  • We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual with:
  • ATT, ACCA, or ACA qualification, and either CTA qualified/part-qualified or keen to start CTA qualification.
  • Proven experience in providing tax advice to SMEs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client engagement.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team and manage individual tasks independently.
