Assembly Maintenance Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Maintenance Planner to join our team at Magna International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery used throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
  • Analyze production, maintenance, and machine data to support uptime and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and track project activities and ensure all parts and tools are available for projects.
  • Ensure spare parts, fluids, lubricants, chemicals, and tools are ordered and/or stocked for uptime and project support.
  • Administer the maintenance planning module of Tabware and maintain updates to all process equipment drawings and OEM manuals.
  • Develop all inspections and routine maintenance plans to support reliable operations.
  • Prioritize and schedule all work in the maintenance plan, including weekends and shutdowns.
  • Prioritize and schedule all unplanned work, including service requests, project support, and corrective maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical background and previous experience in maintenance and scheduling.
  • Field-driven computer systems and inventory control experience.
  • Intermediate level computer and program knowledge.
  • Basic Excel knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
